Originally released in the early 1980's, the adicolor shoe gave the option
of colouring the stripes with adidas pens/markers and creating unique designs.
The adicolor shoe pictured directly below this text is an original pair from
1983. There was also a Hi Top model released which had a Trimm Trab sole unit. (see catalog cover above)
In 2006 adidas released multiple models to celebrate
the history of the adicolor. The pair in the wooden painters box below are based on the original shoe from the early
1980's, there were 1000 pairs of this edition released. Along with the numerous shoe models, adidas released an adicolor
track suit range and various other clothing items.
